Configuring Dialup Internet Access with Windows 2000    Step 1   Click the start menu and select Settings --> Control Panel       Step 2   Double-click "Make New Connection"        Step 3   Click the "Next" button when the screen shown below appears.        Step 4   Select "Dial-up to the internet" in the list Click the "Next" button       Step 5   Select "I want to set up my internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN)." Click the "Next" button.        Step 6   Select "I connect through a phone line and a modem"  Click the "Next" button      Step 7   Type your local access number in the "Telephone Number" textbox. If you don't know your local access number, click here for a list.  click the "Next" button      Step 8   Type your user name and password in the appropriate text box Click the "next" button      Step 9   Type "APSCC" in the "Connection name" text box      Step 10   Select "No" when asked if you want to set up your internet mail account.  Click the "Next" button.       Step 11   Click the "Finish" button.       Step 12   Right-click on the "APSCC" icon Select "Properties"    Step 13   Select the "Security" tab.    Step 14   Click the "run script" button     Step 15   In the "Run script" text box, do one of the following:  Type the path to the apscc.scp file that you downloaded or click browse and navigate to it Click the OK button  Step 16   You are now ready to connect. Double-click the "APSCC" icon to connect.
